Programs are designed to help warriors find peace through an active life on the water. From job training and placement to peaceful day trips, we offer veterans and service members a chance to interact with the sea in fun and rewarding ways.
We provide programs to train and ultimately hire veterans to crew and maintain motor yachts and sailboats. As our warriors acquire experience, they can move on to an exciting career in the world of yachting and boating; as well as other various careers such as, but not limited to, engineering, food service, event planning and more.
As the program develops and grows, we’ll secure scholarships to maritime schools. We will partner with businesses within the maritime industry to give the disabled a chance at a new career in the yachting world, from captain to first mate, engineer to chef.
While being trained to work on a mega yacht, warriors will be giving back by mentoring youth working with their own disabilities as well as volunteering time with charitable organizations. The yacht will be rented for events and functions, providing the crew a hands-on learning environment.
“Warriors to the Wall”
Once or twice a year we will organize a flotilla of volunteer boats to take a five-day cruise to Washington, DC. On the two-day trip up we will offer yoga, meditation and other fun activities. We’ll spend a day touring the monuments around DC, and the two-day trip back will be dedicated to therapy sessions and life coaching.
Health and wellness
Warriors in Peace will provide gentle yoga and meditation classes, dietary council, life coaching, stress management techniques and information and services customized to each individual. Our aim is to enhance the lives and bodies of our warriors while interacting with the water and other maritime activities.
Once trained in their chosen field, captain, engineer, food service, or event planning, we will help them find employment through our network within the yachting world.
To make sure our warriors are getting the most out of life, we will provide them with exciting activities and entertainment that amplify the experience of life on the water. Smaller vessels will be used to take veterans fishing, diving, waterskiing and wake-boarding utilizing equipment designed their needs.
Our vessel, Dream On, will be available to rent for office functions, day trips, fishing, boating, dinners, weddings, parties and more. We will offer a scattering of ashes cruise, discounts to veterans and free dockside weddings for military personnel.
